What To Expect

Getting started

Select a date and time for your session from our calendar. You can join an in-store session or, if you can not join us for a session, we can arrange for you to pick-up a pre-prepared order for an additional fee. Session registration closes 48 hours prior to the session time. If you have selected an in-store session, feel free to invite a friend to join you for their own session. For every 12 customers you recommend, you receive a 6 meal session for free!!

Browse our monthly menu and choose 8 or 12 dishes in any combination to make during your session. Feel free to choose more than one of any menu item that you might want more of. Only premium items are limited to one.

Submit your order by either registering as a new customer or logging in to your already established account. You can make payment online by credit card or may print out your menu selections and mail your payment. Your session space is not reserved until we have received both your menu selections and payment.  Once this is received, you will be confirmed for your session.

We will send you an email reminding you of your session 2 days in advance as well as a "reminder nudge" to clean out your freezer. Its time to ditch the year old leftovers and make room for your Quick Dish Kitchen meals. We also request that you bring a large box or laundry basket to make it easier to carry your meals home with you.

When you arrive at Quick Dish Kitchen

Welcome! Our friendly staff will be on hand to greet you when you arrive at the kitchen. All guests will be provided with a menu selection sheet and an apron and will be assigned a refrigerated shelf where they will store their meals after preparing them. New guests will be oriented to our facility and the meal assembly process. Returning guests can get straight to work!

Freshly brewed coffee and pastries will be served at our morning sessions. For those of you in our afternoon and evening sessions, you'll enjoy appetizers and beverages.

Our kitchen is composed of 14 stations, each with a different recipe, mixing bowls, spoons, measuring cups and ingredients. Select an item from your menu selection sheet and locate the corresponding station. Read through the recipe instructions and begin assembling your meal. All ingredients will be pre-chopped in refrigerated containers, each with its own measuring instrument. Remember it's your meal; feel free to individualize the recipe to fit your taste. Leave out the peppers or add a little extra cheese if you like. It takes about 6 - 10 minutes to assemble each meal. Baking tins, and freezer bags are provided to you at no additional cost.

After assembling your meal, label it with cooking instructions, place it on your designated refrigerated shelf and mark that meal off your menu selection sheet. Don't bother cleaning up, just move to the next station and our kitchen staff will clean up for you. Once you've completed your meals gather them into your basket or box. Our kitchen staff will provide you with complimentary side dishes, a clean menu selection sheet to take home as well as a handout with freezing and thawing instructions before assisting you to your car.


At Home

When you arrive home, place your uncooked meals in the freezer and post your menu selection sheet on the freezer so you always know what's inside. One day per week, review the meals available in your freezer and select several to thaw in the refrigerator. During the week, simply put your meal in the oven, crock-pot or skillet for convenient and nutritious dinners.

Gather your family or friends for a delicious meal that you can take the credit for. After all, you did do all the cooking.
